The last car Enzo Ferrari personally approved before his death. Built in just 13 months to mark Ferrari's 40th anniversary, the F40 paired a 2.9-litre twin-turbo V8 with a Kevlar, carbon fibre, and aluminium composite body over a tubular steel chassis — no power steering, no ABS, no traction control, nothing but the driving experience itself. 478 hp, 0–100 km/h in 4.1 seconds, 324 km/h — the first production car to break 200 mph. 1,311 built between 1987 and 1992.
Chrome Mirage Blue is a special chrome-plated finish unlike anything in the standard F40 palette — a mirror-bright blue that shifts and reflects with every angle of light, turning Pininfarina's sharp-edged body into something closer to liquid metal than paint. It is the most visually arresting treatment available on this subject, and one of the rarest.
