These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Sozu Model Cars website, online store, products, services, and related communications.

Throughout these Terms, “Sozu Model Cars,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Sozu Productions Inc., operating under the store name Sozu Model Cars.

By visiting our website, submitting information, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy, Return and Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, Contact Information, and Legal Notice.

1. Eligibility

By using this website, you represent that:

• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• The information you provide is accurate and complete
• You will use the website and products only for lawful purposes
• Your use does not violate applicable law or third-party rights

We may restrict access, refuse service, or cancel an order when reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, abuse, illegal activity, security threats, or policy violations.

2. Products

Sozu Model Cars specializes in collectible scale model vehicles and related collector items, including die-cast and resin model cars, limited editions, racing models, display models, and model-car accessories. Products may be new, pre-owned, vintage, discontinued, or manufacturer-packaged, as stated in the applicable product listing. Our product selection and availability may change without notice.

Collectible model cars are generally intended as collector or display items and might not be suitable as toys for young children. Customers are responsible for reviewing product warnings, age recommendations, instructions, specifications, and legal restrictions.

3. Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to display product descriptions, photographs, specifications, dimensions, colors, materials, condition, and availability accurately. Colors may vary because of lighting, photography, or screen settings; manufacturers may make minor packaging or specification changes; minor factory variations may occur; measurements and weights may be approximate; and photographs may contain background or display items not included with the product.

The title, description, condition information, included-items list, and photographs should be reviewed together before purchase.

4. Orders and Acceptance

Submitting an order constitutes an offer to purchase the selected products. It does not guarantee that the order has been accepted. We may decline or cancel an order because of product unavailability, inventory or pricing errors, payment failure, payment-verification problems, suspected fraud, shipping or import restrictions, incorrect customer information, quantity limits, technical errors, or violation of these Terms.

If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, an appropriate refund will be issued to the original payment method.

5. Inventory

Product availability is not guaranteed until the order has been accepted and processed. An item may become unavailable because of simultaneous purchases, inventory errors, supplier changes, discontinued production, damage discovered during inspection, or other circumstances. We are not required to provide a substitute product at the same price when the original product is unavailable.

6. Prices

Unless otherwise stated, prices are displayed in United States dollars. Prices may change without notice before an order is accepted. We may correct typographical errors, incorrect discounts, technical errors, currency errors, shipping errors, or obvious pricing mistakes. If an obvious pricing error affects an order, we may offer the product at the corrected price or cancel and refund the order.

7. Payment

Available payment methods are shown during checkout. By submitting payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the selected payment method, the information provided is accurate, sufficient funds or credit are available, and the transaction is lawful.

Orders may be subject to payment authorization, identity verification, fraud screening, or additional review. Payment services may be provided by Shopify Payments, Shop Pay, PayPal, card networks, banks, or other third parties. Their separate terms may apply.

8. Cancellations

Customer-requested cancellations are generally not accepted after payment has been completed. Exceptions apply when Sozu Model Cars cannot fulfill the order or when cancellation is required by applicable law. Complete cancellation terms are contained in our Return and Refund Policy.

9. Shipping

Available destinations, shipping charges, processing periods, and delivery options are displayed on the website or during checkout. Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly identified as guaranteed. Shipping is governed by our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

10. Returns and Refunds

All sales are generally final except for damaged, defective, incorrect, incomplete, or materially misdescribed products and except where applicable law requires otherwise. Returns require prior written authorization. Complete return and refund conditions are contained in our Return and Refund Policy.

11. International Orders

International customers are responsible for confirming that products may lawfully be imported, possessed, resold, and used in the destination country. Unless expressly collected during checkout, customers are responsible for customs duties, import taxes, value-added tax, brokerage fees, clearance charges, and related costs. Sozu Model Cars is not responsible for customs delays or restrictions outside our reasonable control.

12. Product Use

Customers are responsible for selecting products suitable for their intended use and for following all manufacturer instructions, warnings, and applicable laws. Sozu Model Cars is not responsible for damage resulting from improper selection, assembly, installation, modification, storage, maintenance, or use. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

13. Customer Accounts

Customers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for activity occurring through their accounts. Please notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access. We may suspend accounts associated with fraud, abuse, repeated chargebacks, false claims, or policy violations.

14. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the website to violate applicable law; commit fraud or misrepresentation; infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights; transmit malware or harmful code; attempt unauthorized access; scrape or extract data without permission; submit false orders, claims, or chargebacks; impersonate another person or business; manipulate reviews, discounts, or website functions; or harass, threaten, or abuse another person.

We may investigate suspected violations and cooperate with payment providers, carriers, insurers, regulators, or law-enforcement agencies.

15. Reviews and Customer Content

Customer reviews and other submitted content must be truthful, lawful, and based on genuine experience. By submitting content for publication, you grant Sozu Model Cars a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and use that content in connection with our website and marketing.

We may remove content that is fraudulent, unlawful, threatening, defamatory, infringing, private, or unrelated. Nothing in these Terms prohibits an honest negative review.

16. Intellectual Property

Original website content created by or for Sozu Productions Inc., including branding, text, page designs, graphics, photographs, and videos, is owned by or licensed to Sozu Productions Inc. Without written permission, you may not reproduce, republish, commercially exploit, scrape, or use our original content to create competing listings or websites. Manufacturer names, trademarks, logos, and product names remain the property of their respective owners.

17. Third-Party Services

Our website may use or link to third-party services, including Shopify, payment processors, carriers, analytics providers, applications, and social-media platforms. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their separate content, availability, security, terms, or privacy practices.

18. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, permanent product availability, compatibility with every device, or identical color reproduction on every screen. This disclaimer does not exclude any express product description, mandatory warranty, or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.

19. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sozu Productions Inc. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from use of the website or products. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, personal injury, or another liability that cannot legally be excluded.

20. Fraud and Chargebacks

Customers should contact us promptly about order or payment problems. Knowingly submitting a false chargeback, false non-delivery claim, substituted return, manipulated damage claim, or other fraudulent claim may result in account restriction and evidence being provided to the payment provider, carrier, insurer, or appropriate authority. This provision does not restrict the customer’s legitimate right to dispute an unauthorized or unresolved transaction.

21. Governing Law

These Terms are generally governed by the laws of the State of Michigan and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. This provision is subject to mandatory consumer rights or jurisdictional protections applicable to a particular customer or transaction.

22. Severability

If a provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted or removed, and the remaining provisions will remain effective.

23. Changes

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our business, website, products, policies, or legal obligations. The current version will be posted with an updated effective date.
