This VISION VM223B is a 1/43 scale fully pre-built resin model from Make Up Co., Ltd. — VISION being the dedicated race car sub-brand of EIDOLON — reproducing the No.8 Toyota TS010 in the precise ZENT livery worn at the 1992 Le Mans, the most vivid and chromatic of the three TS010 color schemes. Each model is painted by hand by a craftsman using masking tape for every color boundary, and to ensure absolute consistency between units the master prototype carries molded guideline scribe lines at each paint and decal boundary — shallow enough to disappear under paint, but precise enough to act as a registration reference for every individual car produced, eliminating the unit-to-unit variation common in hand-painted models. After decals are applied, multiple layers of high-clarity urethane clear coat are built up over the surface, with each coat wet-sanded before the next is applied, producing a depth of finish and mirror-smooth surface flatness that reads as a single unified skin rather than a layered assembly. The characteristic rear wing is constructed with resin end plates of appropriate thickness and a single photo-etched aluminum sheet bent into a C-section profile to create the wing blade's aerofoil cross-section — a technique that captures the wing's real thinness and curvature without compromise. Wheels combine machined aluminum turned rims with sharply cast white metal disc/mesh centers, bringing the material contrast and tactile quality of the real components to the model's smallest details.
An essential piece for Le Mans 24 Hours historians and Japanese motorsport collectors alike — the No.8 ZENT TS010 in its most vivid livery, rendered by Japan's most exacting race car model builder and best displayed alongside the No.33 CASIO (VM223A) and No.7 NIPPON DENSO (VM223C) to complete the full three-car Toyota team as it appeared at La Sarthe in 1992.
