This Make Up EIDOLON EM667C is a 1/43 scale fully pre-built resin model from Make Up Co., Ltd., faithfully capturing the first-year 1999 Honda S2000 AP1 — the purest, most original specification of the model before any of the subsequent suspension, styling, or displacement revisions. The master prototype was developed from a full 3D scan of an actual 1999-model vehicle, with zero subjective deformation applied — every surface taken from measurement rather than interpretation. Significantly, the 1/43 master was derived by resizing data originally built at 1/18 scale, which means the resolution and density of detail in the headlight housings, body surfaces, and panel lines is substantially higher than a conventional 1/43 approach would yield. The exposed interior of this open car is a major focus of the model: it too was developed from a comprehensive 3D scan of the actual cabin, with dimensions, seat form, instrument panel layout, and trim detail all faithfully observed. Most notably, the model comes with two interchangeable roof configurations — a closed hood-up state and an open tonneau-covered state — allowing the collector to display the car in either of its two natural postures.
