This Make Up EIDOLON EM585B is a 1/43 scale fully pre-built resin model from Make Up Co., Ltd., finished in Silverstone Metallic and representing the standard late-model NSX NA2 of 2001 — a body that was designed entirely from scratch for this release, as the absence of the front hood duct, rear under-diffuser, and Type R-style wing demanded a completely new sculpture rather than a modified existing tool. The master prototype was developed from a full 3D scan of the actual vehicle, with the design philosophy of zero subjective deformation — every surface rendered as found, without the exaggeration or softening that characterizes lesser model treatments. The fixed headlights of the 2001 model are one of the key focal points: the housing is formed in white metal, chrome-plated, then fitted with an ultra-thin clear cover replicating the layered construction of the real lamp unit — the result has real presence and depth. Interior geometry was similarly reworked from a fresh 3D scan, as differences in seat leather texture and stitching between NA1 and NA2 made reuse of earlier data unacceptable. Wheels are rendered in white metal casting with careful hand-painting to capture the spoke detail and finish of the production car's alloys.
