BBR Models BBR130B | 1:43 Maserati 3500 GT Boneschi Coupé 1964 | Dark Red | Hand-Built Resin Boneschi of Milan built exactly two bodies on the Maserati 3500 GT chassis. One appeared at Turin in 1962. One at Geneva in 1963. That was it — the 3500 GT went out of production in 1964, and no further Boneschi examples followed. Two cars exist in this body, ever.
The 3500 GT itself was the car that made Maserati a road car manufacturer in any serious sense — over 2,200 built between 1957 and 1964, powered by a twin-cam 3.5-litre inline-six derived from the 250F Grand Prix engine, clothed in aluminium over tubular steel by Carrozzeria Touring. The Boneschi versions took the same chassis and engine and dressed them in something more individual: a panoramic windscreen, a tighter roofline, a distinctly Milanese interpretation of what the Maserati GT could be.
In dark red, Boneschi's close-coupled coupé reads exactly as it should — serious, considered, and rare beyond almost any other Italian coachbuilt subject available in 1:43 scale.
