BBR BBRC251B | 1/43 Maserati MC20 2020 | Nero Enigma | Gloss Black Roof | Limited 60 pcs — Maserati's Return to Supercar Greatness, in the Most Dramatic Colour
For fifteen years after the MC12, Maserati's name was absent from the supercar conversation. The MC20 changed all of that. Unveiled in Modena in September 2020, the car that bears the initials of Maserati Corse announced the Trident's full-blooded return with a carbon-fibre monocoque chassis, butterfly doors, and a brand-new engine developed entirely in-house for the first time in two decades. That engine — the Nettuno, a 90° 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged V6 carrying patented pre-chamber combustion technology derived from Formula 1 — produces 630 PS at 7,500 rpm and 730 Nm of torque, channelled through an 8-speed Tremec dual-clutch gearbox to the rear wheels. The result: 0–100 km/h in under 2.9 seconds, a top speed beyond 325 km/h, and a kerb weight of just 1,475 kg. In 2022, evo magazine named it Car of the Year, beating Ferrari and McLaren in the process.
Nero Enigma is the colour that suits the MC20's dramatic character most completely. The deep, lustrous gloss black absorbs light and throws the car's sculptural surfacing into sharp relief — the wide haunches, the dramatic rear buttresses, the razor-edged aero details all reading in maximum contrast. BBR captures the MC20 in this finish with a matching gloss black roof, the whole rendered by hand to the exacting standard that has made BBR Italy's most respected producer of 1:43 resin miniatures. At just 60 units worldwide, this is among BBR's most tightly constrained MC20 releases — serious scarcity for a car that already commands serious attention. Presented in BBR's signature one-piece plexiglass showcase, brand new and factory sealed.
