After a gap of more than fifteen years, Alfa Romeo revived its most storied badge for the most extreme version of the modern Giulia. The GTAm — Gran Turismo Alleggerita modificata — strips the Quadrifoglio down to its competitive bones: rear seats replaced by a roll bar with twin helmet bays and a fire extinguisher, a polycarbonate windshield, carbon-fiber front splitter that actively adjusts for aerodynamic load, and a massive carbon rear wing. Power comes from the same 2,981 cc twin-turbo V6 that puts out 540 bhp in standard GTA trim, channeled through an 8-speed automatic to the rear wheels. Alfa limited the GTAm to just 500 road cars worldwide — a number that makes a serious collector model from BBR more than appropriate.
