The Simca 1000 Rallye 2 is one of the most charming and iconic French hot hatches of the 1970s — a lightweight, rear-engined pocket rocket that punched far above its weight both on the road and in motorsport. Introduced in September 1972, the Rallye 2 stepped up from the original Rallye 1 with a spirited 1294cc four-cylinder engine developing 82 horsepower, pushing the little Simca to a top speed of 170 km/h and cementing its reputation as a genuine driver's car of the era.
This 1/18 scale diecast model by Norev captures the 1976 Simca 1000 Rallye 2 in a striking Racing Green finish with the instantly recognisable black bonnet and boot — one of the most iconic and sought-after liveries of the entire Rallye 2 range. Every authentic detail of the real car is faithfully reproduced: the "Rallye 2" signature on the rear doors, bullet-style side mirrors, rear spoiler, white rims with exposed central hubs, sporty bucket seats with headrests, and a detailed engine compartment that brings the Rallye 2's mechanical character to life.
A must-have for collectors of classic French performance cars, vintage European hot hatches, and premium 1/18 scale diecast models.
Perfect for fans of Simca, 1970s French motorsport culture, and Norev's celebrated classic car series.
