From Virgil Exner's famous "Revival Cars" series for Esquire magazine: the Mercer Cobra reimagined the great pre-war American marque on the chassis of a genuine 289 Shelby Cobra (CSX2451). Commissioned by the Copper Development Association and hand-built by Sibona-Basano of Turin, its flowing body showcases dazzling copper and brass brightwork—a one-off that later brought $660,000 at RM's Monterey auction.

Matrix Scale Models reproduces this extraordinary concept in finely detailed 1/43 resin, a limited production model finished in cream white with copper-tone accents, presented in its original display case. A unique crossover piece for Shelby Cobra, Exner, and 1960s concept collectors. Only one unit available.
