Ferrari's first car was a V12 spider. The 12 Cilindri Spider is that lineage arriving at its present form — no hybrid, no turbo, no concessions. Just a 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12, 830 PS at 9,250 rpm, screaming to 9,500 rpm with the roof down.

It replaces the 812 Superfast and makes a deliberate statement: Ferrari still believes the naturally aspirated V12 is worth building at the highest level. The numbers confirm it — 0–100 km/h in 2.95 seconds, 340 km/h top speed, quicker around Fiorano than the 812 and the 296 GTB. The retractable hard top opens in 14 seconds.

In Rosso Corsa it wears Ferrari's most fundamental colour — the one that connects every open V12 Ferrari back to the car that started the whole story.
