Ferrari built the SF90 XX by taking the Special Series programme and the XX Programme — two things that had never overlapped — and combining them into a single road-legal car. The result is a Spider with a fixed carbon-fibre rear wing (the first on a road Ferrari since the F50), more than double the standard SF90's downforce, 1,030 hp from a twin-turbo V8 and three electric motors, and a Fiorano lap time of 1:17.309. The XX suffix is not marketing. It means this car was developed using the same philosophy as the FXX K — track-first, with road registration as a secondary consideration. In Rosso Corsa, there is nothing ambiguous about what it is.
