The Porsche 911 (997.2) GT3 is the FIA homologation-driven, circuit-focused evolution of the 997-generation 911 — updated with a facelift in 2009 to feature a 3.8-litre naturally aspirated flat-six producing 435 horsepower, surpassing even the earlier GT3 RS. Revised front and rear bumpers, a redesigned rear wing with an independently functioning flap, and updated lighting give the 997.2 GT3 a sharper, more racing-focused appearance, serving as the direct base for the GT3 RS and GT3 RSR competition car.
