March 20, 2022. Bahrain International Circuit. The first race of Formula
One's most radical technical revolution in a generation — ground effect
regulations that changed everything — and Ferrari arrived not to survive,
but to conquer. From pole position, Charles Leclerc led Carlos Sainz in an
F1-75 that was, from the very first lap, the fastest car at Sakhir.
Verstappen harried Leclerc through a breathtaking three-lap wheel-to-wheel
duel, swapping the lead twice on laps 17 and 18 before a locked wheel
at Turn 1 handed the advantage back to the Scuderia. The world watched in
disbelief as, on lap 55, Verstappen's Red Bull spluttered into the pits
with a power unit failure. On the very final lap, Perez suffered the same
fate. Both Red Bulls gone. Leclerc and Sainz crossed the finish line
together in a Ferrari 1-2 — the first since Singapore 2019 — and the
paddock erupted. Leclerc: 1:37:33.584. Sainz: +5.598 seconds.
98,000 people in the stands. An era had begun.
BBR presents Carlos Sainz's race-winning F1-75 in their BBR Concept 1:43
resin series as item BBRC275B, strictly limited to 327 pieces worldwide.
In Sainz's first full season at Ferrari — having joined from McLaren in
2021 — this Bahrain result was a statement of intent: a Spaniard at the
wheel of the Scuderia, measured and precise, holding formation behind his
teammate to deliver the 1-2 on the very first day of a new era. Hand-built
and hand-painted in faithful Rosso Corsa with all 2022-spec livery details,
with photo-etched finishing and tampo printing for full authenticity, the
model comes with display base and original BBR packaging. Brand new,
shipped directly from Japan.
The perfect companion to BBRC275A (Leclerc #16) — for the Sainz devotee,
the Spanish F1 fan, or any collector who wants both sides of the most
memorable Ferrari 1-2 in recent history.
