The MC20 — Maserati Corse 2020 — arrived in Modena in September 2020 not as a cautious return but as a full statement of intent: a carbon-fibre monocoque co-developed with Dallara, dramatic butterfly doors, and the all-new Nettuno engine built entirely in-house for the first time in twenty years. That engine, a 90° 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged V6 with patented pre-chamber combustion technology derived directly from Formula 1, produces 630 PS at 7,500 rpm and 730 Nm of torque, dispatching 0–100 km/h in under 2.9 seconds on its way to a top speed beyond 325 km/h. evo magazine named it Car of the Year in 2022, beating Ferrari and McLaren. The MC20 is not a cautious car, and Rosso Vincente is not a cautious colour.
