When Alfa Romeo revived the GTA nameplate in 2020, it chose a form sharper and more purposeful than any modern road car had a right to be. The GTAm — Gran Turismo Alleggerita modificata — is the most aggressive interpretation: rear seats replaced by a roll cage with twin helmet bays and a fire extinguisher, polycarbonate glazing, carbon-ceramic Brembo brakes, a carbon front splitter that adjusts actively for aerodynamic load, and a full carbon rear wing. The 2,981 cc twin-turbocharged V6 produces 540 bhp, sent to the rear wheels through an 8-speed automatic. Alfa Romeo produced the GTAm in only 500 units globally — a figure that gives any serious 1:43 representation genuine collector weight.
